All bookings made with Abenteuer Travel Club are subject to availability and written confirmation from our team. A booking is considered confirmed only once a deposit or full payment has been received and acknowledged by us. Itineraries, accommodation, and activity inclusions are reserved on your behalf only after this confirmation step.
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that all personal details — including full names as they appear on travel documents, passport numbers, and visa requirements — are accurate at the time of booking. We are not liable for additional costs arising from incorrect information supplied by the traveller.
2. Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit, as specified in your tour proposal, is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due according to the schedule outlined in your confirmation. Payments may be made via our secure payment partner, bank transfer, or mobile money, as advised by our team.

Book & PayBookings made within a short window of the travel date (as communicated by our team) may require payment in full at the time of confirmation. All prices are quoted in the currency stated on your proposal and are subject to change until a deposit has been received.
3. Cancellations & Amendments
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@nileabenteuer.com. Cancellation charges are applied on a sliding scale depending on how close to the travel date the cancellation is received, as deposits, accommodation holds, park fees, and supplier commitments are often non-recoverable on our end.
Amendments to confirmed itineraries — such as date changes, traveller substitutions, or activity adjustments — are subject to availability and may incur additional costs from our partners and suppliers. We will always do our best to accommodate changes with minimal disruption and cost to you.
4. Refunds
Refunds, where applicable, are processed back to the original payment method and may take several weeks depending on the payment provider and banking timelines. Deposits, park fees, permits, and any costs already committed to third-party suppliers (lodges, airlines, transport operators) are generally non-refundable once paid. Refund eligibility for any package is detailed in the specific terms shared with your tour proposal.
In cases where Abenteuer Travel Club is unable to deliver a confirmed service due to circumstances within our control, we will offer either a suitable alternative of equal value or a proportional refund, at the traveller's choice.
5. Liability
Abenteuer Travel Club acts as a curator and coordinator of experiences delivered by trusted third-party suppliers, including accommodation providers, transport operators, activity guides, and airlines. While we carefully select our partners, we are not liable for loss, injury, delay, illness, or damage arising from the acts or omissions of these independent suppliers, nor for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, political unrest, strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, or changes in government regulations.
Travellers are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and personal belongings prior to departure. Participation in adventure activities (such as game drives, water sports, hiking, or cultural excursions) is undertaken at the traveller's own risk, in accordance with the safety guidance provided by the relevant activity operator.
6. Information We Collect
To plan and deliver your travel experience, we collect personal information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, phone number (including WhatsApp contact), nationality, passport details, dietary or accessibility requirements, and payment information. We may also collect information about your travel preferences, group size, and special occasions (such as honeymoons or corporate retreats) to tailor your itinerary.
When you contact us via email or WhatsApp, we retain copies of that correspondence as part of your booking record and for quality and training purposes.
7. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to prepare and confirm bookings, communicate itinerary details and travel documents, process payments, coordinate with accommodation and activity partners on your behalf, respond to enquiries, and provide customer support before, during, and after your trip. With your consent, we may also use your contact details to share relevant offers, seasonal experiences, or club updates.
8. Data Storage & Retention
Personal information is stored securely using reputable digital tools and booking systems, with access limited to team members directly involved in arranging your travel. We retain booking records for as long as necessary to fulfil our contractual, accounting, and legal obligations, after which records are securely archived or deleted.
9. Third-Party Sharing
We share only the information necessary with trusted third parties involved in delivering your experience, including accommodation providers, park authorities, transport and activity operators, and payment processors. These partners are expected to handle your information responsibly and only for the purpose of fulfilling your booking.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be disclosed where required by law, such as to immigration or park authorities, or in response to a valid legal request.
